Step 1: Nominations will be accepted from September 10th - September 21st. After the nomination period, the Governance and Executive Committees will evaluate the applications using the criteria noted below. Applicants will be notified if they have been selected for the slate no later than Friday, October 2nd.
Step 2: Voting for the Board of Director elections will be open from October 5th through October 23rd. Voting is conducted online via the Green Building United website and only members of Green Building United may vote. Candidates will be notified of the results prior to public announcement.
The Green Building United Governance Committee will use criteria below to evaluate all nominees. Based on these criteria a ballot will be established with the slate of candidates for the open board seats. During voting, members may vote for or against the entire slate, or for or against individual candidates.
