The Delaware Community advocates for advancing a sustainable, resilient, and healthy built-environment that will transform the standards in The First State.

We aim to empower cost effective approaches that are resource efficient, resilient to climate change, and result in a healthier indoor environment. Our networks of experienced professionals and industry leaders, demonstrate examples and success stories that make the business case for adopting technologies and practices that transform the market.

Green Building United’s Delaware Community Council is actively focused on addressing regional issues and offering local educational events. We meet the third Wednesday of every month from 12:00 - 1:00 pm ET. If you are interested in joining, please contact Co-Facilitators, Kristin Brubaker and Sarita Sen, for meeting access details. All are welcome!

Delaware Benchmarking Pilot

Green Building United is seeking building owners and managers interested in gaining insights from their monthly utility data and measuring performance relative to buildings similar in size and use. Research shows, simply monitoring energy use and sharing performance over time results in significant savings. This pilot will provide free benchmarking support for  5-10 eligible commercial property owners in Delaware.
