Commissioning Your Multifamily Building for Code Compliance

Tue, 1/1/2030 - 1:00pm - 1:00pm

Webinar on Demand

Recorded on 7/15/2020

Commissioning is the process of verifying and documenting that a building and all of its systems and assemblies are planned, designed, installed, tested, operated and maintained to meet the Owner's Project Requirements.

This scope of work results in a higher performing building, a more profitable asset through increased net operating income (NOI), as well as increased comfort for residents.

But commissioning multifamily properties is not a straightforward process. Multifamily building types are diverse and are not easily characterized as commercial or residential. In addition, there are specific commissioning requirements for lighting, heating, cooling, domestic hot water, and ventilation that impact scope, price, and performance outcomes for the project.

Join us to enhance your understanding of the commissioning requirements under the 2018 IECC, learning what types of systems will trigger these requirements and how to implement commissioning to optimize value for your project!
