As building owners, managers, and occupants, design professionals, and citizens - our energy, materials, location, and operational decisions affect water on many levels. Understanding how these decisions impact the region and what we can do to design and build for resiliency will better prepare us for the risks of climate change.
Wrestling with developing your resiliency strategy? Concerned about water and its risks from climate change? Curious about the ubiquity of water? If so this event is for you!
Presenters will describe the various forms water takes in our lives, such as stormwater, riverine and tidal water, drinking water, and waste water. Attendees will walk away understanding the interdependency of these water systems and how they impact and are impacted by climate change.
If you are looking for opportunities to volunteer as a leader or participant with the Living Future Community, we’ll have information at this session for you as well!
