Property Partner Commitment Form

The Philadelphia 2030 District is an opportunity for voluntary, private sector leadership in demonstrating the value of high performing, cost-effective buildings. 2030 Districts bring together property owners and managers with professional and community stakeholders, local governments, and utilities to achieve voluntary reductions in energy and water use, and in transportation emissions by the year 2030.

By committing to the Philadelphia 2030 District, the undersigned property owner or manager agrees to participate in a district-wide effort in which each partner works to achieve district-wide goals, meets participation requirements, and gains access to valuable program resources.

Partner Benefits

Participating property partners receive the following benefits:

  • Invitations to bi-monthly, member-only district partner meetings and the opportunity to present at the meetings.
  • Recognition of properties in all publicized property partner lists and maps.
  • Education and training opportunities from Green Building United.
  • Confidential building-level performance reports.

Participation Requirements

Property owner/managers that commit their properties to the Philadelphia 2030 District must complete the following to be recognized by the district:  

  • Submit the property partner commitment form below. 

  • Share read-only access to their ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager Account. 

  • Update their data on an annual basis by June 30 in compliance with the City’s benchmarking and disclosure ordinance deadline.   

Property partners are encouraged to share best practices, lessons learned, technology information, and case studies to raise the level of performance across the district. 

There is no penalty for property partners who do not meet their individual building reduction goals in energy, water, or transportation emissions by 2030.   

In addition, data is shared only as an aggregate total to protect the confidentiality of each individual building. Green Building United does not share an individual building’s data without explicit permission.
