Green Building United is excited to announce that the Call for Sessions is officially open for the 2026 Sustainability Symposium!

Each year, the Sustainability Symposium brings together issue experts, industry leaders, emerging professionals, and community advocates to explore the future of sustainability in our region and beyond. For 2026, we’re once again creating a space where practitioners can connect, share breakthroughs, and learn from one another— grounded in real stories from the Greater Philadelphia, Delaware, and Lehigh Valley communities and inspired by lessons from cities across the country.

We are now inviting session proposals that bring fresh ideas, practical insights, and forward-thinking strategies to the table. Whether you’ve piloted a new approach to decarbonization, worked directly with frontline communities, advanced healthy building practices, or led a cross-sector collaboration— we want to hear from you.

If you have a compelling story, innovative project, or critical perspective that can help move our region toward a healthier, more sustainable, and more equitable built environment, we invite you to submit a session proposal. The deadline to submit your session proposal is January 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM. This deadline will not be extended.

We can’t wait to see what you’re working on and to build another inspiring program with you!
