The Living Future + Passive House Communities of GBU embarked on a demonstration learning series to examine the synergies and complements between the Phius’ REVIVE 2024 and Living Future’s Core certification standards. Over the course of six sessions that started in late 2024, we looked at how the two standards and organizations approach sustainability, and how these new certification standards compare and contrast in a ‘crosswalk’ analysis. The Cross Street Passive House, a retrofit and renovation of a South Philly rowhome, provides a real-life, real-time case study of how these standards can be applied and implemented in a project seeking certification.
