This half-day workshop offers an in-depth look at the principles and framework of the LEED v5 Building Design and Construction (BD+C) and LEED v5 Interiors Design and Construction (ID+C) rating systems and how it positions buildings to be part of the solutions for critical environmental and social imperatives. It explores key areas of impact—decarbonization, quality of life, and ecological conservation and restoration—highlighting how they align with LEED v5 credits to drive real-world change. Participants can expect to explore each credit category, with emphasis on goals and updates from LEED v4 and v4.1, as well as tools and resources available to support project teams.
