Showing up—Together

In a year of political and economic challenges unlike any in recent memory, I continue to draw inspiration from your passion and commitment. This year, Green Building United hosted more than 40 in-person and virtual events, and I am so grateful for how many of you showed up, participated, and shared your work and challenges with us and one another. Our organization has always been about education and learning, but this year it truly felt like a community.

Turning Shared Values into Action

Beyond bringing people together at our events, we’ve made strides in policy and programs that matter most to us. We showed up for Advocacy Day to push for stronger Building Performance Standards, and the HERE for Climate Justice coalition championed low-income housing and home repair programs for Philadelphians.

We’ve expanded resources like the Better Buildings Hub and Clean Energy Navigator to accelerate decarbonization and equity in our region. From these efforts, it is your engagement that has helped turn these ideas into action.

Your Support Makes This Work Possible

As of this message, you have collectively raised more than $23,000 for Green Building United as part of our year-end campaign. This support will enable us to continue our work in the year ahead while continuing to prioritize climate action and equity locally, no matter what changes occur at the federal level. If you haven’t donated yet, please consider doing so here.

Truly, your generosity and partnership make Green Building United, and make our work possible. On behalf of our team, I am wishing each of you a happy holiday and a peaceful new year.

We look forward to the work ahead of us in 2026!
