Emily Pugliese

Emily (she/her/hers) is Green Building United’s Policy and Program Director. She oversees GBU's policy initiatives and supports programming including the Climate Ready Community Partnership, the Housing Equity Repairs and Electrification for Climate Justice (HERE for Climate Justice) coalition, and the Philadelphia Energy Benchmarking Program. Prior to joining GBU, Emily served as a Legislative Assistant in the Pennsylvania State Senate and as an Environmental Specialist with a sustainability focused consulting firm. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Policy from Drexel University. Emily lives in the Mt Airy section of Philadelphia with her husband, 2 kids, and 2 dogs.
