Emma is passionate about designing new sustainable buildings and implementing improvements for existing buildings. Through her work at MaGrann Associates she has had the good fortune to spend the past 20 years engaged in many aspects of the critical mission to improve the quality and energy efficiency of buildings where people live. She has overseen MEP design of new construction, high rise, passive house buildings, electrification and deep energy retrofits of older, existing multifamily assets. Emma is a strong supporter of the integrated design process and enjoys collaborating with owners, developers, architects, builders, and contractors during all aspects of design and construction. Emma is excited to be joining the GBU Board as an opportunity to continue to collaborate both within the industry and as an advocate in the larger community for the important work of “greening” our built environment. Emma has a BSc in Civil and Architectural Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia and a BA from McGill University, Montreal.
