Labaron Lenard-Palmer, Ph.D.

Labaron Lenard-Palmer is the Director of Sustainable Building Strategies at Green Building United, where he leads the development and implementation of the regional Building Energy Hub and supports broader GBU initiatives to advance sustainable development. Previously, he served as a Senior Policy Analyst for Philadelphia’s Department of Planning & Development and as the American Street Empowerment Zone Manager for the City’s Commerce Department. Labaron holds a Ph.D. in Geography & Urban Studies from Temple University, where his research focused on urban sustainability, green gentrification, and public space. He is also engaged in sustainable development processes on a global scale.
