he/him/his
For over 40 years, Manny committed his career to saving energy by making the world brighter though the lights we turn on and off every day. Starting in New York City, Manny’s experience has taken him from classrooms to showrooms and offices throughout the East Coast, conducting seminars on all aspects of lighting and controls for interior designers, architects, electrical engineers, lighting designers, contractors, utilities and end-users. He retired from Lutron Electronics Co. Inc. in 2024 and is spending more time on the GBU board to increase the efficiency of our built environment through advances and changes in lighting, daylighting, and control technologies.
Manny also teaches a Lighting elective at the Hillier College of Architecture and Design at NJIT; he has a BS in Physics with minors in Math and American History from Cooper Union and CCNY.
