Maya Bornstein

Maya (she/her/hers) oversees the Climate Ready Capital Project to provide technical assistance to non-profits. As a Program Manager, she also supports GBU's other programs as necessary. Prior to joining GBU, Maya worked for several years in food security and policy, financing renewable energy, educational initiatives, and non-profit capacity building. She holds master's degrees in Non-Profit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, and Agroecology and Food Sovereignty from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy. Maya is committed to environmental justice and fostering community-led, sustainable city and agriculture initiatives. She loves gardening, cooking, and making ceramics in her free time.
