
Patrick Houston
Patrick (he/him) is Green Building United’s Climate Justice Campaign Manager for the Housing Equity, Repair, and Electrification for Climate Justice (HERE 4 Climate Justice) coalition. He works with coalition organizations to bolster home repair programs and advance energy transition in Philadelphia, prioritizing households most vulnerable to displacement and climate impacts. Prior to joining GBU, Patrick led grassroots organizing with POWER Interfaith and New York Communities for Change to successfully pass building decarbonization policy (including LL97 in NYC), halt fossil fuel infrastructure, and strengthen democracy. He serves on the board of the Climate Organizing Hub and holds a master’s degree in urban and environmental policy and planning from Tufts University. Patrick lives in North Philadelphia with his nephew and can often be spotted cycling through Wissahickon and Conshohocken.
