Delaware River Boat Tour

Hosted by Green Building United’s Living Future Community and the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia’s GSI Partners.
Hop aboard for an engaging guided boat tour exploring the infrastructure and future vision of the Delaware River. As we cruise north toward the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, we’ll be joined by content experts and project designers working on the Philadelphia side of the river. Together, we’ll take a closer look at river dynamics, infrastructure challenges, and the opportunities that lie ahead.
Highlights of the tour will include:
- A look at how the Combined Sewer Outfall (CSO) system interfaces with the river
- Updates on the Delaware River Trail and East Coast Greenway improvements
- Industrial, commercial, and residential developments along the waterfront
- How designers and the working port are collaborating to increase safe river access for residents
As we return south, we’ll shift focus to the New Jersey side, highlighting upcoming projects, plans, and potential collaborations.
