Join the Living Future Community on July 21st for a refreshing sail on the Delaware to see first-hand the cutting edge and natural systems being used to improve the water quality in our river systems. We will be joined by experts from the Philadelphia Water Department, The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, and the University of Delaware to see and discuss how mussels are being utilized to help clean water, how wetland parks are being developed to bring people closer to the water and create a buffer against changing water levels and dynamics and how Living Shorelines defend shoreline edges without bulkheading. We are excited to hear about these all natural, cutting-edge techniques and find out what is in the offing as we all work to defend our shorelines in the changing climate.

Light refreshments will be available.

Thank you to our refreshment sponsor!
