Speaker Danielle Gonzalez is a JEDI (Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) educator and advocate specializing in issues surrounding the LGBTQ+ community. Since coming out as transgender in 2015, Danielle has been a passionate advocate for nearly a decade. She has shared her expertise with organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Living Future Institute, and is a recurring guest lecturer at Wichita State University. Her educational approach emphasizes visibility and personal stories.

“Humans are social creatures, and that same social drive that creates a powerful need to connect with others is also responsible for tribalism and an ‘us vs. them’ mentality. However, bigotry thrives in a vacuum. It’s much harder to dehumanize and delegitimize others when you can see their faces and learn their stories.” – Danielle Gonzalez

*Show your support! Contribute any amount you can before finalizing your registration. Proceeds will go to both Philly-based William Way LGBT Community Center & national suicide prevention and crisis intervention non-profit organization The Trevor Project.
